BPF Fitness Hub fun day for Tetbury Hospital - 10th July

Tetbury-based gym, BPF Fitness Hub, has organised a fun event to raise money for Tetbury Hospital while getting some exercise!

On Tuesday 10th July gym staff, members and anyone else who would like to help are aiming to cover 592 miles by bike, rower or Skierg, in the gym - the distance between Tetbury and its twin town Zwingenberg in Germany. Both members and non-members are welcome to come and take part.

There will be a tombola as well as cake and refreshments for sale, the proceeds of which will go towards the fundraising total.

 "We have decided to raise funds for Tetbury Hospital to enable them to purchase Visual Acuities Software to provide improved sight tests. We felt strongly that we wanted to support a local cause which would benefit the whole community of Tetbury. We not only want to raise much needed funds but also to provide a fun, enjoyable day for everyone."

Tetbury Fiesta - 14th July

Held in the grounds of Sir William Romney's School the Fiesta will take place from 12noon - 11pm.

Tickets available from Tetbury Hardware, London Road from the beginning of March with "Early Bird" discounts available until end of April.

Local bands performing on main stage include The Layers, Place Nation, Bones Like That, The Dirty Smooth, Audio Asylum, Heather Bristow, Chloe Wood, DJ Moggy, and Drogo.

Crudwell Strawberry Fayre - 14th July - 15th July

Celebrating its 30th year with a fun filled weekend of live music, raffle, market stalls and delicious strawberry treats, there really is something for everyone.

Light Zeppelin @ The Goods Shed - 27th July

Formed in 2014 as an off-shoot of Whole Lotta Led, the UK’s leading Led Zeppelin tribute band, Light Zeppelin perform acoustic versions of Led Zeppelin’s amazing songs.

Obviously the band perform Led Zeppelin’s beautiful acoustic numbers but they also play stunning versions of the Zep classics, including Black Dog, Kashmir and of course the hugely popular Stairway To Heaven.

On this special night Light Zeppelin will be joined by guest musicians for an evening of timeless music performed by outstanding musicians.

 Throughout 2018 Whole Lotta Led will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of the birth of Led Zeppelin with a show that will include songs from all of their studio albums, ranging from their beautiful acoustic songs to the huge anthems we have come to know and love.

Tetbury in Bloom 8th Annual Open Day - 29th July

Tetbury in Bloom 8th Annual Open Day is to be held on Sunday 29th July between 1pm and 5pm. 

Tickets cost £5 per person and are available on the day from inside the Market House (in the centre of town) or from any of the eight gardens themselves.

Refreshments will also be available, baked and served by the ladies of the Women’s Institute.
